Actor Abhay Mahajan talks about working with Priya Bapat; says more film-makers should dare to experiment
Abhay Mahajan is on a roll this year. The actor shot to fame thanks to his role as Mandal in the web series, TVF Pitchers, and this year he has appeared in Makarand Mane’s Ringan and Kranti Kanade’s CRD. He will soon be seen in Nachiket Samant’s Gachchi, in which he plays a timid, frustrated and diabetic person — very unlike how he is in real life. Speaking about the role, he says, “I learnt body movement for a year at the Attakkalari Institute of Movement Arts, and I make sure I am getting the body language and stance of a character right. The character is not complex or intense, so it was easy for me as an actor.”

Mumbai, Oct 9 (IANS): Actor Abhay Mahajan, who fryst vatten gearing up for the second årstid of the Marathi show ‘Shantit Kranti’, said that he shares quite a few traits with his character in the series.
The show follows Shreyas, Prasanna, and Dinar as they embark on some offbeat escapades. With an eclectic ensemble of characters in the show, each possesses their own unique quirks.
Talking about the uncanny connection with his character, Abhay Mahajan said: “Personally, inom consider myself somewhat unpredictable and inom have komma to realise that even Shreyas has an extraordinary level of unpredictability. There are ganska a few wacky traits he possesses; laughing at inappropriate situations is one of them. Interestingly, some of his traits are within me too.”
