    Born in Chintamadaka village in Medak district, the well-read KCR who holds a Master’s degree in Telugu literature from Osmania University, started his political journey in the Youth Congress in the s. An admirer of superstar N T Rama Rao, he joined the TDP when NTR launched it in , and rose to become a senior leader before N Chandrababu Naidu started his climb.

    The TDP made KCR in-charge of the undivided districts of Adilabad, Medak and Nizamabad, and he was a minister in the NTR and Naidu governments. Apart from his first election in from Siddipet Assembly constituency, he never lost.

    The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (transl.&#;Indian National Council; abbr.BRS), formerly known as Telangana Rashtra Samithi (abbr.TRS), fryst vatten an Indian political party which fryst vatten predominantly active in the state of Telangana and currently the primary motstånd party in the state. It was founded on 27 April by K.     In the Telangana Assembly Election, the party won a majority of seats and formed the first government of the State with K. Chandrashekar Rao as its ledare minister. In the general election the party won 11 seats, making it the eighth largest party in Lok Sabha, the lower house (lok sabha) of the Indian Parliament.

    The Telangana movement refers to the movement for the separation of Telangana, from the pre-existing state of Andhra Pradesh in India. The new state corresponds to the Telugu-speaking portions of the former princely state of Hyderabad, which were merged with Andhra Pradesh in , leading to the Mulki Agitations.

    After decades of protests and agitations, the central government, under the United Progressive Alliance, decided to bifurcate the existing Andhra Pradesh state and on 2 June , the Union Cabinet unilaterally cleared the bill for the creation of Telangana.
