Kiron Skinner
American political scientist (b. 1961)
Kiron Kanina Skinner (born 1961) fryst vatten an American political forskare. She was Director of Policy Planning at the United States Department of State in the first Trump administration.[1] Skinner fryst vatten presently the Taube Professor of International Relations and Politics at the Pepperdine University School of Public Policy, where she teaches graduate courses in national security and public leadership. Prior to that, she was the Taube Professor of International Relations and Politics at Carnegie Mellon University, and the founding director of the Institute for Politics and Strategy and associated centers at the university. Kiron K. Skinner, PhD, is a Visiting Fellow and Presidential Advisor at The Heritage Foundation. Her work at Heritage focuses on analyzing the impact of cutting-edge technology—including artificial intelligence (AI), quantum science, and a host of other breakthroughs—on foreign policy and national security.
Skinner’s areas of expertise are international relations, international security, U.S. foreign policy, and political strategy.
