Dustin Belt (bornDec 3, ) is the guitar player for Big Time Rush. He is also co-founder of the band Heffron Drive. Fans and Rushers have name him the fifth member of Big Time Rush. He is Kendall Schmidt's best friend and when Kendall is not in the studio or hanging with Carlos, James or Logan he is hanging with Dustin. Dustin have become really good friends with the cast of BTR and all of them can be seeing hanging before and after a signing or concert.

Dustin Earl Belt (born December 3, ) is an American guitarist and music producer.
He was a founding member of the indie pop duo, Heffron Drive, and the touring guitarist for the Nickelodeon/Sony boy band, Big Time Rush. Heffron Drive's first single, "Parallel", was released in March through the record label TOLBooth Records.
Heffron Drive's first album Happy Mistakes was released on September 9, Upon release, it charted at No. 84 on the Billboard Top and at No. 14 on the Billboard Pop Charts.

[edit]Belt was born in Wichita, Kansas, to Earl & Carol Belt. He began as an actor in kindergarten where he attended Buckner Performing Arts Magnet in Wichita. When he was 11 years old, his family moved from Kansas to California for pilot season. They returned to Kansas but shortly thereafter moved permanently to Los Angeles in Belt went on to have a career as a working
