    HOW THE BOLSHEVIK PARTY WAS TRANSFORMED INTO ITS OPPOSITE

    In August 1936, January 1937 and March 1938, three trials were held in the October Hall of the Trade Union House in Moscow. The 1937 trial took the toll of a number of highly placed Army officers of the rank of Generals and Marshals.
