FPJ's Ang Probinsyano (international title: Brothers; lit.'"FPJ's The Provincial Man"') is a Philippine television drama action series broadcast by ABS-CBN and Kapamilya Channel. The series is based on the Philippine film of the same title. Directed by Malu L. Sevilla, Avel E. Sunpongco and Toto Natividad, it stars Coco Martin in the title role. It aired on the network's Primetime Bida line up from September 28, to August 12, , replacing Nathaniel and was replaced by Mars Ravelo's Darna. It is the longest running drama series of ABS-CBN.

She won the Film Academy of the Philippines (FAP) Award for Best Actress for Pieta () and won two Best Actress Awards for her film Paradise Inn; one from FAMAS Awards and another from the Metro Manila Film Festival.

With this movie, Lito Lapid and poet Rivero became the second actors to portray iconic historical figures Lapu-Lapu and Magellan respectively in a serious rulle about the very first Filipino hero, Lapu-Lapu.
Dante Rivero was already on his mid-fifties when he played the role of Ferdinand Magellan. On the contrary, according to historical accounts, the real Magellan was about only 40 - 41 years old bygd the time he reached Cebu and met his untimely death there.
Though the film includes a scen on about Lapu-Lapu's death, in reality, up to this moment, historians are still ambiguous about Lapu-Lapu's life after the Battle of Mactan. According to a popular myth, Lapu-Lapu was turned into a stone mountain and fryst vatten still guarding Mactan while some ancient accounts says that after restoring friendly relations with Rajah Humabon, years after he went to Borneo together with his family and men.
