Star Wars Galaxies, often abbreviated SWG, was a Star Wars–themed MMORPG developed by Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) and published by LucasArts for Microsoft WindowsPCs.[9] The base game was released as Star Wars Galaxies: An Empire Divided on June 26, 2003 in the United States of America, November 7, 2003 in Europe, December 23, 2004 in Japan, and in 2006 in Australia.
