    My intention for this project is to create a final result consisting of photographs that demonstrate a personal interest as well as social engagement with those considered to be outcasts. To begin with, I was attracted to the theme of identity, however, looking deeper, I aim to challenge my own interpretation along with the viewers perception of my chosen subjects. Like Gillian Wearing, I would like to photograph strangers, although wish to focus on people on the street, who we assume have little or no identity in this society. Hearing about the dreadful story of one homeless man who recently passed away not far from Westminster Abbey, captured my attention on the way society as a whole treat impoverished people.
